This yummy little salad is such a nice change to a traditional salad.
Always a big hit when made for a crowd. This salad tastes better the longer it sits mixed with all the ingredients. If you can open a can and move your hand in circular motion, open a tin can and chop an onion you can make this salad.
RECIPE
1 Can Yellow String Beans
1 Can White Kidney Beans
1/2 Chopped Onion
1/2 Chopped Red And/Or Green Pepper
1/4-1/3 Cup Sugar, Or Stevia, To Taste
1/4 Cup Olive Oil, Or To Taste
1/4 Cup Vinegar, Or To Taste
Salt And Pepper To Taste
Place all the above ingredients into a bowl. Mix well, cover and allow to sit refrigerated for at least an hour. If you can manage 6-8 hours the better.
I love this bean salad in a lettuce wrap, in a bun or just as a side salad.
