Now I first must say sorry for not having any pictures for this recipe except for the finished dish. It was a real busy day and I was in a hurry when preparing this dish.
This dish is so simple to make. Not only simple but quick. I was amazed. I have made it Keto friendly but add rice, noodles or even place the filling into egg roll wrappers and fry them. Anyway it is really good.
RECIPE
1-2 Lbs. Ground Pork
1 Onion, Chopped
3-4 Fresh Garlic Cloves, Grated
4 Cups Finely Chopped Prepared Coleslaw With Nothing Added To It (You Can Use Just Regular Cabbage, But The Prepared Cole Slaw Already Has Everything Chopped Up Inside, HUGE Time Saver)
2 Tablespoons Rice Wine Vinegar, But If You Don’t Have It, Use What You Have, White Vinegar, Even Some Sushi Vinegar
2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce OR To Taste
Couple Of Glugs Of Oil Into A Sauce Pan
Salt And Pepper
1 Tbsp. Cornstarch, If Putting Into Egg Roll Wrappers
Toasted Sesame Seeds (Opt.)
PREPARATION
Heat oil in a pan. When it is hot add onions and cook for a few minutes. When they become translucent and the grated garlic, mix well.
Next add the ground pork, as it is cooking start to chop with a mixing/chopping utensil (above) or spoon to break it up to end up with very small pieces of meat.
When the meat is half cooked add the prepared coleslaw. Mix together with the meat and add vinegar and soy sauce.
You can at this point continue to cook at a higher heat or lower and simmer covered until the cabbage is cooked. If it is dry you can add some liquid like water. Serve hot sprinkled with sesame seeds.
Tastes good the next day.
ENJOY!
