I love these things and even more so when I can buy them pre made and ready to cook. Fast and easy making a wonderful meal.
There’s really no recipe required. We went to a local butchers that has hormone and antibiotic free meat. We found a ton of gorgeous meat. They had these ready made beef burgers that looked delicious so we went for it. They were stuffed with bacon and cheese, could hardly wait to get home and have them for supper. We were not disappointed.
You can cook them any way you wish. Sometimes I bake them in the oven, sometimes I fry them on the stove and other times I broil them. Then there’s my favourite way, on the BBQ. Actually my most favourite way of having them on the BBQ is on our son’s BBQ. He has a BBQ smoker and the meat done on it is fabulous. So tasty and the smell while the meat is cooking is out of this world.
It really doesn’t matter how you cook them, just try not to overcook them. I have recently discovered that doing beef medium rare leaves the meat very tender. For some cuts you can also use a marinade which keeps the meat tender. Always remembering to let the meat rest once it is cooked so not to dry it out.
This recipe is just cooking the burger the way you like it and dressing it with different toppings.
I placed my burger into a Keto pita, with lettuce, tomato, avocado, hot peppers, onions bacon, mayo, mustard and sugar free ketchup. DELICIOUS! Next time it will be something different, though NEVER without bacon. That’s the beauty of KETO.
