I first had these at Buffalo Wild Wings. They were so good I decided it was time to try it at home. Here is the recipe I used.
These pickles were a bit tricky to do. So I had to alter the recipe somewhat.
RECIPE
20 small pickles
1 1/2 cups Panko crumbs
1 cup flour
3 eggs, beaten
oil for frying
PREPARATION
I have found it was difficult to try and bread these pickles but they are so good if you can preserve. I had trouble getting anything to stick and accidentally came across a method that seemed to work.
Into 1 bowl add flour.
Into another add 3 beaten eggs, 2 tablespoons of Panko crumbs and about the same amount of flour. Mix well.
Take the pickles and add them into each bowl.
First into the flour, then into the beaten eggs and then into the breadcrumbs
Place into a bowl or pan. Refrigerate until ready to fry.
In a large pot add some vegetable oil, when hot, place the pickles into the hot oil.
Fry until brown. Serve with Ranch dressing or an kind you like.
I’M SORRY THAT I DON’T HAVE A FINAL PICTURE. THEY WERE GONE BEFORE I HAD A CHANCE TO TAKE IT.
ENJOY!
