KETO MEATLOAF PIZZA

I like to think of this as a meat pizza, then I really don’t miss the carbs.

This is easy to make and really good.  You can make it ahead so there is nothing to do last minute.

Chop all the  pepper, mushrooms, olives, onion, salami and bacon if you want.

Add egg, garlic powder, basil, Worcestershire sauce, and some breadcrumbs.  I eliminated the breadcrumbs.  Mix well.

Place the meat, onions, pepper pieces, salt and pepper,garlic powder into a bowl and mix in these ingredients.

Next place the meat mixture into a oven proof pan.  Bake at 350 for approx. 20 minutes.

Remove from oven and add the tomato sauce.

|Add the reserved toppings.  Top with mozzarella cheese and bake until the cheese has melted.

PREPARATION

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 3/4 c. tomato sauce, or as much as you want divided
  • 1/2 c. breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1/4 yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced, or powdered garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp. oregano, basil, both or just one
  • kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded mozzarella
  • 8 slices pepperoni or salami
  • 3 or more olives, sliced
  • 1 tbsp. Chopped parsley, for serving, opt.
