PUDDLES-A WATERCOLOUR

Here is a little watercolor I did, so much fun.  I find this is a great way to relax and learn so much of which I know nothing about.  Art has never been something that I was interested in because I knew I could not do it.  Much to my surprise, I discovered that not only do I like doing it but that I can do some very simple things.  I have no idea where this ability came from because in the past I knew I was fantastic at drawing stick men but to actually do a picture like this was impossible for me.  After painting furniture for a while which I knew I could do, I decided to try watercolours, why I’m not sure.  I mean really, there was no one with so little artistic ability then me.  Playing around and applying some things and tips I learned while painting furniture I was well, at a loss for words.  Looking at some of the pieces I painted and knowing I had actually painted them, I was and still am in disbelief.

After a long break from painting, it’s going to take me a while to get back into the grove of things.  I am rusty so it will take some practice.
