A LITTLE BLUE TRAY

I love  painting trays.  I find that no matter how many I have I can always find somewhere to put them, or use them.

Always searching for one, my searches take me to all kind of places.  Garage sales, auctions, second hand stores and just asking friends, family and acquaintances if they have any.

This one came from a thrift shop and really looked shabby.  With a pattern on it |I could see how someone wanted to get rid of it.  I purchased it knowing I could make it pretty and leave someone wanting to use it.  Mission accomplished.

Painting it in Annie Sloan Louie Blue, dry brushing it with AS Aubisson Blue, stenciling it with AS Cocoa and finally applying Rustoleum Polycrylic for added durability.  It turned out beautifully.
