RED FARMERS MARKET SIGN

SOLD

WOW!  When I finished this sign it blew me away.

I just loved the way it turned out.  The pop of red looks fantastic no matter where I place it.  This sign was so worth it.  It is different from the rest and everyone loves it.

First I covered the board in BIN Zinner and waited for it to dry.  This was to avoid any bleed through that may have occurred.  Then I painted with AS chalk paint Burgundy.  Only one coat was applied because I knew it was going to be distressed and in this case you don’t need the coverage so it is easier to sand and have the underlying colour show through.

Once the paint dried I applied the stencil in Rustoleum Line White.  Finally applying Minwax polyurethane for protection.  Just love how it looks.

BEFORE

Sorry I was ahead of myself doing this project that I only took one before picture.
