Waiting In The Rain

I just love painting rain. That may be because I love when it rains.  Many love the sunny days but give me the rainy ones anytime. This picture came to me when I thought of our grandchildren going to school in the rain.  So many times a we can get caught in the rain.  Going shopping, cutting the grass, planting the garden, playing sports.  The list can be endless.  When I think of the times on holidays it rained, those are the days I enjoyed the  most.  Walking around with our umbrellas and doing what tourists do were some of my most memorable moments.

I hope someone else enjoys the rain as I do or I hope that someone can enjoy some of my rainy day paintings.

This one was done with mixed media and on art board.
