Crustless Quiche

Since I have been on The Keto Diet staying away from carbs is a must.  So when it came to making this quiche it was a no brainer.  This quiche was delicious and the great thing about it is that you can add any of your favourite ingredients to it.  What I loved was the fact I didn’t miss the pastry shell.

RECIPE

NOW I AM NOT GOING TO LIST THE AMOUNTS OF INGREDIENTS HERE.  YOU CAN PUT AS MUCH AS YOU WANT OR AS LITTLE AS YOU WANT.  EXCEPT FOR THE LIQUID.

INGREDIENTS

CHOP ALL VEGGIES INTO SMALL PIECES

Peppers

Onions

Tomatoes

Bacon

Cheese, Grated, Your Favourite Kind

Hot Sauce (OPT.)

Salt And Pepper

OPT.

Mushrooms

Cooked Potatoes

The ingredients are limitless.

6 Eggs

1 cup Whipping Cream

1/2 Cup 18% Cream

Butter To Fry All The Ingredients

PREPARATION

In a heated fry pan with oil or butter add the chopped vegetables.  Season with salt and pepper and set aside.

Break the eggs into the bowl.

Beat until creamy, add the cream and beat until well combined.

Place the grated cheese on top of the veggie mixture, add the beaten eggs mixed with the cream.  Place into a 350 degree oven for 40-45 minutes or until not wabbly inside.  Serve with a salad or on it’s own.

    Baba how is that diet working for you? I know that you have to limit carbs but what else? This would be a perfect meal for that diet.

      IT IS A GOOD DIET. I’M NOT LOSING VERY FAST BUT I LOVE THE FACT WHAT I HAVE DENIED MYSELF FOR YEARS I CAN EAT NOW. AFTER BEING ON IT FOR A WHILE YOU DON’T MISS WHAT YOU CAN’T HAVE. I’M NEVER HUNGRY AND HAVE TO FORCE MYSELF TO EAT. GOING OUT TO EAT IS EASY AND RESTAURANTS ARE PRETTY ACCOMMODATING.
