Teacup Birds

I love doing these kind of watercolours.  A friend of mine likes tea and her husband had asked me to paint a picture.  I thought it would be nice to do teacups since she collects them, I thought a cute watercolour with teacups and my favourite to incorporate some birds with them.

Well, I sketched the teacups, painted them and put two cute little birds into the mix.  I was so pleased with the outcome and pleased with myself to come up with the idea.  I’m sure that when I give them to her she will love the watercolour.  It does look gorgeous framed.
