Winter In The Woods

WINTER IN THE WOODS

Before I do a painting on canvas I usually do what I call a practice piece on paper.  With this one I knew I wanted to do a birch tree.  We have one in our backyard and I like the look of it but at this time of the year  there isn’t much to see.  So I had to jazz it up a bit.  I like the look of this painting but I have to laugh because the one on canvas that I did is different.  I wish I could paint and not change my mind during the process.  I believe they call that creativity.  Oh well.
