A Tornado

img_7221I can’t believe that I’ve taken to doing abstracts.  Well that’s because I can’t paint anything else.  I was not blessed with any artistic ability.

It still is difficult for me trying to put a painting together.  Colours, shapes anything that it involves I have very little knowledge about.  I just do it because it’s fun. Yet when I look at what others have done, I think well, I’ll just have to keep on trying.  I just wish I would have attempted these many, many years ago.  That is because by now, I might have been good at it.  Oh, well I’ll just keep on trying and maybe someone else will begin to enjoy them one day too.

I love abstracts, they take us on a surreal journey and let our minds make up their own stories. You’ve done an amazing job Irene. I love the colors you used and the composition is perfect. Personally I think you have loads of artistic ability, abstracts are not easy to get right.

Thank you It is wonderful to get the positive feedback. It does encourage me to go on and try to do more. I just finished 3 yesterday that I have been working on. Will post in the near future.
