There is so much fun in heading out on a Saturday morning and not knowing what you might come home with. A treasure of some kind usually awaits. A treasure that at first might not look like one but once given some kind of makeover, it’s something that everyone wants.
Every one of these candlestick holders were garage sale finds. Not so great looking. Some black, some brown, some gold. Once they were painted with ASCP Pure White and distressed, gorgeous. The mirror was a plain gold frame. Painted with ASCP French Linen, Paris Grey and Old White it was made to look like driftwood. The Letter B was also painted in ASCP Pure White and transformed from a piney look. All sitting on a dresser that was painted in ASCP Coco and Country Grey that was purchased from Kijji but looks like it was purchased from a store. Loads of people love it and cannot believe it was a makeover.
So never turn away from a shabby piece of treasure. Just use your imagination and turn it into a chic piece of style that everyone wants. You’ll be so glad you did and you’ll be the envy of all.
Happy garage sailing for that perfect piece of …. You just never know what you’ll find.
