I love my pasta as you all know by now. This is another simple dish that you can’t mess up.
Chop 1 onion and 3 balls of frozen spinach.
Chop about 1/4 cup of fresh parsley.
Add pasta to a pot of boiling water and cook according to package directions. When done, save 1 cup of the pasta water, drain, rinse with cold water and set aside.
Into a pot add some olive oil and add the onion…
And the 2 lbs. of ground pork, 1 tablespoon granulate garlic, salt and pepper to taste and brown the meat.
Place the meat into a crock pot along with a green pepper, chopped spinach and 4 cups of your favourite tomato sauce. Cover and cook on low for 4 – 6 hours.
About 30-40 minutes before serving add 1 small tub of ricotta cheese and about 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese.
And your cooked pasta along with the saved pasta water. Cook for another 30 minutes.
Serve in bowls.
