Anyone looking for an easy appetizer or snack. Well this is it. I made this at Christmas time and everyone loved it. It went very quickly.
Cut a favourite loaf into cubes, but not quite all the way through,
Stuff with cheese cubes or shredded cheese of your choice, finely chopped bacon that has been fried. Wrap in foil, heat at 350 degrees until cheese has melted. Approximately 20-30 minutes. While bread is baking, melt 1/4 cup butter. When it has completely melted, remove from heat and add 3 tablespoons of powdered ranch dressing from a package.
Remove the bread loaf from the oven and place it onto a serving platter. Pour the melted butter mixture our over the entire loaf of bread, making sure to get into the sliced cubes.
Top with chopped green onions, tomatoes, lettuce and your done. Serve immediately. Really, how much simpler can it be?
